Top-notch care is further ensured by Denver Oncology’s dedicated, hands-on team of cancer specialists, including medical and surgical oncologists, dosimetrists, radiation physicists, radiation therapy nurses and radiation therapists. Most of these experts have been working at the hospital at least ten years.

One of the Denver area’s most skilled physicians in the use of brachytherapy, Seth Reiner, MD holds a medical degree and a bachelor’s degree in physics from the State University of New York. He has worked with the nation’s most prominent oncologists at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and continues to sustain his knowledge of cutting-edge cancer treatments by participating in local and university tumor board sessions. Dr. Reiner is one of the founders of Kids Alive, a children’s cancer support group, and continues to be one of this group’s primary funders.

Wendy Nekritz, MD graduated from, and completed her residency at, the Northwestern University School of Medicine. She has a special interest in women’s oncology and is actively involved in community projects to promote breast cancer education and early detection. Notably, Dr. Nekritz was instrumental in forming a comprehensive breast center, as well as a weekly breast conference during which physicians convene to provide a uniform and individual approach for patient care.
